The fourth annual Neighborhoods of World Golf Village will include a one-mile fun run for kids, a bounce house, clowns/face painting and live reggae from King Eddie & Pili Pili. Proceeds will benefit the Community Alliance Funding Education foundation.
Prize drawings will include an $800 World Golf Village golf package, stays at Laterra Resort & Spa and the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort and World Golf of Fame IMAX Theater tickets. Race participants will get free chiropractic adjustments and massage treatments. Murray Bros. Caddyshack will contribute 100 children’s lunch tickets and Bagelicious will provide bagels for participants.
First place overall winners in the men and women categories will be awarded $100 and custom plaques will be awarded to first place master finishers and the top three finishers for men and women in participating age groups.
Entry fees are $17 (until May 24), $20 (May 25-31) and $25 on race day. The fun run has a $6 registration fee through May 24 and $10 thereafter. If more than four family members from the same household sign up, each additional child’s registration is free.
