Our 4th of July will feature typical weather conditions for the First Coast: hot & humid with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Afternoon temps. will soar to near 90 degrees, but it'll be in the low to mid 80s at the beaches by late afternoon thanks to the sea breeze.
Tropical moisture will continue to increase through the weekend & afternoon/evening storms will increase accordingly. Not a washout, but there will be storms that produce some very heavy rainfall.
For fireworks Fri. evening...it'll help that most displays will not begin until at least 9:30pm. Showers & storms should peak between 4 & 8pm then wind down leaving most areas "fireworks-eligible" by later in the evening.
Ever wonder about fireworks & our environment? I found this (7 yrs. old but still pertinent)from ABC's "News in Science".
